Middlesbrough (which is also known as Middlesborough) is an industrial town and port at the entrance to the Tees Estuary, which marks the northern boundary of the historical Yorkshire Coast.
Famous for its transporter bridge, Middlesbrough was also the birthplace of Captain Cook.
