The North York Moors Railway is an authentic steam railway in the North York Moors national park.

Starting at Pickering the railway passes through Levisham and Goathland (famous as "Aidensfield" in the popular TV series "Heartbeat") before terminating at Grosmont (or running on to Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast on some dates through the season).
