Boulby

Boulby headland

The headland of Boulby rises to precipitous heights above the North Sea, and despite the presence of industry past and present the cliffs here are considered one of the most spectacular sections of the Yorkshire Coast.

Lying just inland at Boulby is the Boulby Mine, location of the UK Dark Matter Collaboration particle physics experiment.
