Whitestone Cliff is a high limestone cliff on Sutton Bank at the edge of the Hambleton Hills overlooking the Vale of York (to the south west) and the Vale of Mowbray (to the north west).
Lying amidst the woods immediately beneath Whitestone Cliff is the mysterious (and reputedly bottomless!) Lake Gormire.
